Why Psychotherapy might be helpful (FOR YOU)
In a society where media and technology have affected one’s individuality; and in some instances have led to isolation, it seems apparent that people feel more disconnected from themselves, their families, unique interests and communities than ever before.
Furthermore, it appears that psychological issues develop in a state of disconnection, which include, amongst others, mood instabilities, personality struggles and anxiety. Therefore I would like to consider myself as a reconnection facilitator that would support you in reconnecting with yourself, your world and your purpose.
Why I (MIGHT) be the right therapist for you
I am a registered Counselling Psychologist; and my dynamic practice is based in Florida Park close to the N1 and Ontdekkers Road. I completed the following qualifications:
BSc. Consumer Science in Nutrition, Food, Clothing and Interior Design at NWU
BSc. Honours in Social Psychology of Clothing and Strategic Management (with additional undergraduate business management subjects) at UNISA
BA. Honours in Psychology at UNISA
Masters in Counselling Psychology at Pearson Institute for Higher Education
I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as well as the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). In addition, I belong to Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA) and the South African Association of Family Ecology and Consumer Science (SAAFECS).
